Reasons to drive slowly

There are drivers that drive slow because

• They are novice driver who are still building their confidence
• They are towing a trailer
• They are driving a vehicle not capable of maintaining highway speed limit (e.g. crane, pison, bulldozer truck, agricultural vehicle)
• They are driving a heavy vehicle, or a heavy loaded one
• They are sightseeing, navigating, or they have passengers who don’t travel well.

If you’re driving slowly, pulling over and staying on the right hand lane of the road will not affect your travel time much, but it will reduce the frustration experienced by faster drivers stuck behind you.

If you are sightseeing, remember that, as the driver, your responsibility is to look at the road and not be distracted by what is around you.
